The Rallye du Maroc has proven to be a gripping test of endurance, with both Hero MotoSports Team Rally and Indian rider Harith Noah making headlines in Stage 2. Noah has put on a brilliant display, jumping to P9 overall and taking P2 in the Rally 2 class, marking a significant improvement from his Stage 1 standings. Meanwhile, Hero MotoSports continued to fight hard, with two riders in the top 10 overall, though the team suffered a blow as Sebastian Buhler was forced to withdraw after a crash. With more challenges ahead in Stage 3, the rally’s intensity is only increasing.

Hero MotoSports Team Rally update

Hero MotoSports is still in the hunt, with Ignacio Cornejo and Ross Branch securing P8 and P10, respectively, at the close of Stage 2. Ross Branch’s consistent form sees him holding an impressive P6 overall, while Cornejo follows closely in P8. Unfortunately, the team faced a major setback when Sebastian Buhler suffered a crash mid-stage. Buhler was swiftly airlifted to the hospital.

Ignacio Cornejo has climbed up from P13 in the morning to P8 by the end.

Harith Noah’s second in Rally 2

Harith Noah’s day took an exciting turn as he surged up the Rally 2 ranks. After starting the day at P7 in his class, Noah turned on the speed near the end of the stage, cutting his deficit and securing second place in Rally 2. He now trails Bradley Cox and sits ahead of Michael Docherty, marking a strong finish for the Sherco TVS rider. Currently, he stands P15 overall and P6 in the Rally 2 class.

With Stage 3 featuring a 328km Special Stage and a 360km liaison, strong momentum could prove crucial as the rally intensifies. Stay tuned for more updates as the rally unfolds!
