Tata Motors have launched another variant of the Nexon, the XM (S) in a bid to make more premium features accessible at an affordable price. The Nexon XM (S) is priced Rs 8.36 lakh, ex-showroom, for the petrol manual variant and Rs 9.70 lakh for diesel manual. There's also an AMT variant on offer that starts at Rs 8.96 lakh for the petrol and Rs 10.30 lakh for the diesel.

The most noteworthy aspect about this variant is that it makes the Nexon the most affordable compact SUV to offer an electric sunroof. It also retains other premium features offered on higher variants, like the projector LED headlamps, LED DRLs, electronic stability program (ESP), hill hold assist, ConnectNext infotainment system by Harman and drive modes (Eco, City and Sport). We have tested the premium Harman sound system in the Tata Nexon and it is easily the best in the segment as of this moment.

Safety features like the hill hold assist and ESP also make it more appealing and it's worth noting that the Nexon was the first car from an Indian manufacturer to score the coveted 5-star rating at the Global NCAP crash tests.
