The Hector still comes kitted out with the FCA-sourced diesel engine (now BS6-compliant) delivering the same 170bhp of power and 350Nm of torque. The motor is paired with a six-speed manual gearbox or a DCT automatic transmission

The Hector continues to be feature-loaded with a 10.4-inch infotainment system along with 8- speaker surround system with an amplifier. It also gets mobile connectivity features like an embedded eSIM and voice recognition commands to control all the functions of the car, like opening and closing the sunroof or even folding in the wing mirrors.

Due to the current COVID/ Coronavirus crisis, MG have said that deliveries for the new BS6 Hector will only begin post April 15th, but bookings can be placed for the car online or by contacting the local MG dealership. MG also recently introduced a new sanitised delivery process to ensure a safe and clean sanitised delivery experience for customers.
