Kia Motors Corporation has teased an image of the brand’s fourth-generation Carnival today. The current generation Carnival – sold in international markets by the name Kia Sedona was launched in India at the Auto Expo 2020 and has been clocking good sales figures as well.

Going from what we see in the teaser image, the design of the new Carnival seems like a significant departure from the current generation, appearing more butch and robust. With a stronger, more stylish presence, futuristic new details and an SUV-inspired design, Kia designers have even dubbed the new model a ‘Grand Utility Vehicle’.

From the front, the Carnival’s gets a new face that seamlessly integrates sleek headlamps with Kia’s iconic ‘tiger-nose’ grille. Kia’s designers call this ‘symphonic architecture’, with the design of the front bringing together a range of detailed, technical features which create a sense of harmony and structural energy.

At the sides, a noticeable character line runs the length of the car, linking the front and rear lamps, with its glasshouse characterized by a new chrome fin which extends to surround the rear as well.

The new Kia Carnival is due-on-sale in South Korea in the Q3 of 2020. Kia will release new images and more details about the fourth-generation Carnival soon.
