Indian rider Harith Noah wrapped up his 2024 Rallye du Maroc campaign with a stellar performance in Stage 5, securing P2 in the Rally 2 class and finishing 5th overall. After a week of relentless racing in the Moroccan desert, Noah’s consistency and determination earned him a well-deserved spot in the top 10 across the bike classes.
The Rallye du Maroc, renowned for its brutal desert stages and relentless navigation challenges, is a key preparatory event for the Dakar Rally. Held annually in Morocco, this year’s edition saw some of the toughest competition in the rally raid calendar, with competitors racing over 2468km.
After a challenging Prologue, where Noah finished P31 overall, the Indian rider faced an uphill battle but showed no signs of backing down. In Stage 1, he made an impressive recovery, finishing P18 overall and P7 in Rally 2, laying the groundwork for a remarkable comeback. His momentum continued to build as the rally progressed. In Stage 2, Noah secured his first podium of the rally, finishing P3 in the Rally 2 class, which propelled him upwards in the final standings to P6 in his class and P15 overall across bikes. By Stage 3, Noah had further narrowed the gap to the podium, finishing P11 overall and P4 in Rally 2, continuing his ascent in the rankings.
But it was in Stage 4 where Noah’s full potential was unleashed. He stormed through the desert to claim his first Rally 2 class victory of the rally, breaking KTM’s dominance and putting himself firmly in the race for a top finish. Noah’s stellar performance saw him finish P4 in the bikes category for the stage, boosting his final standing to P11.
In today’s Stage 5, Noah once again demonstrated his skill and tenacity, crossing the finish line to claim P2 in the Rally 2 class and P5 in the bike classes. With this, the final standings saw him P4 in Rally 2 and P10 across bike classes, capping off a season that began with his monumental Rally 2 victory at the Dakar Rally earlier this year.
With his performance at the 2024 Rallye du Maroc, Harith Noah continues to cement his position as one of the top competitors in rally raid. This rally marks another chapter in a season filled with strong finishes and podium appearances, making Noah one to watch as the 2025 Dakar Rally approaches.
