2025 Honda Dio 125 launched in India, prices start from ₹96,749

The updated Honda Dio 125 gets new features and an upgrade to the engine too;

Honda has launched the 2025 updated Dio 125 at an ex-showroom price of ₹96,749. The new model gets refreshed graphics, new features and an update to the engine. The scooter is available in two variants DLX (₹96,749) and H-Smart (₹1.02 lakh) [all prices ex-showroom] and is offered in five colour options.

Honda Dio 125 design and features

The Honda Dio 125 sports a split LED position light, a sporty tail light,a dual-tip muffler, external fuel lid and a front glove box. The new model gets refreshed graphics and is available in five colours– Mat Marvel Blue Metallic, Pearl Deep Ground Gray, Pearl Sports Yellow, Pearl Igneous Black, and Imperial Red. In terms of features, the scooter gets a new 4.2-inch TFT display with mileage indicators, trip meter, eco indicator, and range. It is compatible with Honda RoadSync app for connected features like navigation and call/message alerts. It also comes equipped with a smart key and a USB type-C charging port.




Honda Dio 125 engine, chassis and suspension

The Honda Dio 125 is powered by a 123.92cc engine producing 8.19bhp and 10.5Nm and is also equipped with an idle stop system. The engine is now OBD2B compliant. It is based on an underbone frame chassis. The front suspension is telescopic while the rear gets 3-step adjustable spring loaded hydraulic suspension. The front tyre gets disc brakes with the rear ones come with drum brakes

The Honda Dio 125 will take on the likes of Honda Activa 125 (starts from ₹85,196), Suzuki Access 125 (starts from ₹84,570), Suzuki Avenis (starts from ₹94,869), TVS Ntorq 125 (starts from ₹89,653) and the Hero Xoom 125 (starts from ₹75,236).
