Force Motors has unveiled an all-new platform for their vans, code-named T1N. The platform supports BS6 diesel as well as 100 per cent electric powertrains and it aims to raise the bar for the Pune based company in terms of passenger comfort, convenience, and safety to international standards.
According to Force Motors, the design and styling of the T1N is in the same league as international models. There are LED DRLs, projector headlamps and tail lamps with ‘light guide technology’, where the lens arrays the spread of light uniformly, reducing the number of LEDs required. It offers a downward and upward distribution of light with low glare.

The T1N is the first vehicle in its category offering crash and rollover compliance with airbags for driver and co-driver. In addition the T1N comes with large ventilated disc brakes on all four wheels with ABS, EBD, and ESP. The platform has been designed with a two box construction and for the first time in its segment it gets independent front suspension with transverse parabolic springs. TN1 is powered by a BS6 diesel engine offering a peak output of 350Nm and the platform also supports BS6 CNG and fully electric powertrains as well.
While this new platform undergoes homologation and validation, a new state of the art facility is being built in Pithampur with a body shop with robotic and laser wielding technology. The TN1 based vehicles will be showcased at the Auto Expo 2020 and will go on sale by the end of this year.
