Hyundai has been at the forefront when it comes to offering new technological features in its cars like we saw with the Hyundai Venue last year. Hyundai looks to re-create that same winning combination with the Creta, and hence have offered the Blue Link Advanced Connectivity Solutions, along with the SmartWatch Integrated Blue Link Application technology. The Creta goes up against the likes of the Kia Seltos, MG Hector, Nissan Kicks, Mahindra XUV 500 and Renault Duster, and gets more than 50 features to pose a healthy competition for its rivals.

About the updated BlueLink system

Hyundai has added the “Hello BlueLink” wake up command. Simply put, what you have seen in the MG as ‘Hello MG’, in Hyundai all you have to say is “Hello BlueLink” to activate its programmed functions. Just with the use of voice command customers can open and close the sunroof. It also allows you to take control of your car’s climate control. Even the car’s ventilation for drivers and passenger seat can be set using just your voice. The voice command is also useful for getting real-time information regarding even the latest cricket match updates on the go as Hyundai has made an effort to integrate our Indian accent that will make it a more pleasant experience for the customers.

Furthermore, the new Hyundai Creta comes fitted with an air purifier (previously seen on the Venue) which in today’s day and age is very much required in cities like Delhi. The Advanced BlueLink and SmartWatch integrated BlueLink application provides remote access to all the seamless connected car services like checking the real-time status of distance to empty, fuel level, tyre pressure warning, engine, AC, vehicle alert, geo-fence alert, speed alert, time fence alert, valet alert, and much more, all on the customers’ smartwatch.

These features have all been added to make the lives of prospective customers easier and allow them to remain more focused on their driving. Now you don’t need to be within the confines of your car to gain access of the car’s features, like unlock your car just through the remote lock/unlock option on the BlueLink SmartWatch application and with this technology, Hyundai hopes to reduce accidents, along with making the driving experience interactive.

The updated Hyundai Creta is an important addition for the company’s lineup and looks to get back to the top spot that is currently occupied by its sibling the Kia Seltos that has been topping the sales charts since its launch.
