Ultraviolette Concept X unveiled at EICMA 2024

Ultraviolette also launched the F77 Mach 2 in Europe at the event along with the unveil of the F99 Racing Platform

Ultraviolette, the electric bike maker, has unveiled the Concept X motorcycle at EICMA, along with the launch of the F77 Mach 2 in Europe and the showcase of the F99 Racing Platform. The company is also planning to expand its presence in the European market.

The Concept X is the off-road version of the F77

Unveiled at EICMA was Ultraviolette’s brand new Concept X, which is essentially an off-road version of the F77. Compared to the F77, the Concept X appears to get longer travel suspension, higher ground clearance and revised ergonomics for the rider. Thanks to its adventure-centric use case, the Concept X also gets luggage racks, an upright handlebar instead of clip-ons and a different headlight. The Concept X will likely get a larger battery too compared to the F77, for a better range.

The F77 Mach 2 was launched in Europe with prices starting from 9990€ (₹9.06 lakh, excluding taxes and duties). The electric motorcycle is equipped with a 10.3kWh battery and the powertrain produces 39.6bhp of power along with 100Nm of torque. Acceleration from 0 to 60kmph comes up in just 2.8 seconds, with a top speed of 155kmph. Other equipment on the F77 includes a smart console and OTA updates, along with an LED headlight.

The F99 Racing Platform was showcased at EICMA 2024

Ultraviolette F99 Racing Platform

Ultraviolette also showcased the F99 Racing Platform at EICMA, which is a high-performance electric motorcycle aimed at the racetrack. The F99 is powered by a 121bhp motor that allows the motorcycle to accelerate from 0 to 100kmph in a claimed three seconds flat. The F99 also gets active aero and cooling ducts which are designed to channel air towards the motor. The kerb weight of the F99 is 178kg, and the top speed of the motorcycle is 265kmph.

In addition to its product reveals, Ultraviolette is also expanding its footprint across the European market, and the company is ready to go live in Turkey, Germany, Austria and Switzerland. The company also aims to establish a presence in Europe, North America, Latin America and Southeast Asia over the next two years.
