Aprilia has launched the Tuono 457 in India at an ex-showroom price of ₹3.95 lakh. Bookings are open and the motorcycle available in a single variant and is powered by a 457cc twin-cylinder engine. The Tuono 457 is the naked sibling of the RS 457 but gets an all new design for the front end and plenty of features to boast of. Here are more details about what’s new in the Aprilia Tuono 457.
Aprilia Tuono 457 design and features
The Aprilia Tuono has an all-new design for the front end which is a new single-pod unit unlike the quarter-fairing that its bigger sibling gets. It gets all-LED lighting and is also the only bike in its class to get a twin-beam aluminium frame. The exhaust is located under the engine to give the bike a clean look.
The bike comes equipped with a ride-by-wire system, traction control and three riding modes – Eco, Sport and Rain. The Aprilia gets a 5-inch TFT colour instrument panel as standard. It is available with a bunch of accessories, some of which include a bi-directional quickshifter, single seat cowl, TPMS, racing brake pads and bar end mirrors.
Aprilia Tuono 457 Engine and Suspension
The Tuono 457 is powered by a 457cc parallel twin-cylinder engine producing 47bhp and 43.5Nm. The engine is liquid cooled and gets double camshaft timing along with four valves per cylinder. Handling suspension duties is a front fork with 41mm stems and 120mm travel along with a preload adjust, while the rear shock absorber gets 130mm of travel and supports an asymmetrical swingarm.

Prices for the naked bike start from ₹3.95 lakh and deliveries will commence by first week of March. The Aprilia Tuono 457 will take on the likes of the BMW G 310 R , Yamaha MT-03, KTM 390 Duke, TVS Apache RTR 310 and Kawasaki Ninja 300.
