Ultraviolette Automotive inaugurates Space Station in Pune

Team Evo India

On August 1, 2024, Ultraviolette Automotive inaugurated its Space Station in Pune, Maharashtra. This marks the second-ever dealership of the electric two-wheeler manufacturer in the country after the UV Hangar, which is the company’s flagship showroom. The Space Station will serve duties as a one-stop shop for customers to come see the bikes, test ride and buy them and even get them serviced.

The Space Station was inaugurated by the co-founders of Ultraviolette Automotive

Like the Hangar, the Space Station also has the UV SuperNova fast charger setup for customers to charge their F77s from. Situated in Shivaji Nagar, a prime locality, where you will find showrooms of a plethora of two-wheeler companies, the Ultraviolette Space Station is in a prime location and bound to get a lot of visibility. Apart from motorcycles, you can also buy Ultraviolette merchandise and access the UV Cafe and enjoy a tailor-made UV beverage while you wait.

The company tells us that Pune is a key-market according to them and it already has a customer base who have gotten their F77s from Bangalore. For those customers, there was already a service station, but the Space Station adds another locale for service while also allowing new customers to get an experience of the F77, should they choose to buy one.

The F77 Mach 2 is the company's latest product and it replaces the F77 that launched last year. The F77 Mach 2 like last year, gets two variants the Original with a smaller battery and the Recon with a larger battery and more range. the Mach 2 also benefits from a plethora of additional features and creature comforts aimed at making the bike more appealing than before. Since launch, for the first 1000 customers, the base variant costs Rs 2.99 lakh while the Recon variant costs Rs 3.99 lakh, making them Rs 81,000 and Rs 51,000 more affordable. Deliveries in Pune begin from today itself.

Commenting on the inauguration of the new showroom Narayan Subramanyam, CEO and co-founder of Ultraviolette said, “We are excited to announce that Ultraviolette is now in Pune, a city that has a rich motorcycling culture and has long been a hub of automotive excellence. Pune's strategic location and dynamic market make it an ideal choice for expanding our presence. The UV Space Station has been designed to cater to the growing demand for performance motorcycles and to offer a comprehensive brand experience. We are strategically choosing the cities where we want to create a robust network of Ultraviolette experience centres that embody advanced technology and infrastructure, fostering a deeper connection with our growing community.''

While Niraj Rajmohan, CTO & Co-Founder of Ultraviolette said “From the state-of-the-art service centre to the charging infrastructure, every aspect of this experience centre has been designed to meet the highest standards of quality and convenience. We believe that by providing a holistic and high-quality customer experience, we can accelerate the adoption of performance electric motorcycles across the country. Both the sales and service team at Pune have been trained and certified at the Ultraviolette training centre in Bengaluru.”

According to what Ultraviolette tells us, the launch of the Space Station is just one of many more to come both nationally and internationally. Pune is one of 50 cities globally where Ultraviolette envisions a dealership presence and we should be able to see the next one as early as next month in Mumbai. The exact date of that launch remains to be confirmed.
