Revolt Motors’ RV1 and RV1+, brings electric motorcycling to a wider audience with their affordability factor. Priced at an introductory ₹84,990 for the RV1 and ₹99,990 for the RV1+, these models promise up to three times lower ownership costs compared to petrol motorcycles.
The Revolt RV1 gets LED headlights and tail lights. It boasts of a 250 kg payload capacity, significantly higher than the 150kg average in other commuter motorcycles. It features broader tyres for improved grip and stability, dual disc brakes, multiple speed modes, and a reverse mode. The RV1 features the longest seat in its category and a frame designed to accommodate multiple passengers. An advanced suspension system also ensures a smooth ride on rough terrains. There’s also a 6-inch digital LCD display that provides real-time ride data and error codes.
The Revolt RV1 gets a 2.2 kWh battery with up to 100km claimed range, and the RV1+ gets a 3.24kWh battery with a claimed range of up to 160km. The batteries are IP67-rated for water resistance. There’s also a built-in charger storage, and with the fast-charging tech, the bike can be fully charged in just 90 minutes.
In addition to the RV1, Revolt Motors has upgraded its flagship model, the RV400. The new RV400 comes with a fast charger that fully charges the bike in just 90 minutes, reverse mode for easy parking, an enhanced digital display, and Bluetooth connectivity. The RV400 now boasts a claimed range of 160km, and is available in a new Lunar Green colour.
The Revolt RV1 has been launched at ₹84,990 and the RV1+ at ₹99,990. It rivals the recently launched Ola Roadster X priced at ₹75,000 and the Ola Roadster priced at ₹1.05 lakh.
