KTM India has released a teaser on its social media handles that the 200 Duke in its model year 2020 form will be launched soon. Until now, the 200 Duke hasn’t received any major updates except new paint jobs since its debut. Going by the new teaser and the spy shots, the 200 Duke gets a major overhaul.

All you need to know about the 2020 KTM 200 Duke

The new Duke has been spotted already at dealerships and now the bike sports the same design as the 250 Duke. It gets the halogen headlamp, exposed trellis frame and new paint schemes. However, instead of the side slug exhaust on the 250 Duke, the 200 Duke spotted at a dealership sported an underbelly unit like the current-gen model.

Though the official specifications aren’t out yet, we suspect there won’t be major update in the 199cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, fuel injected motor and is likely to produce similar outputs compared to the current-gen Duke. The braking hardware too is likely to be the same, with a 300mm disc at the front and a 230mm disc at the rear and so is the suspension, with the same 43mm WP USD forks and WP monoshock at the rear.

We expect KTM to launch the 390 Duke, 250 Duke and the 200 Duke by mid-February. The bikes have already started arriving in dealerships and sport a matte grey paint job. Though the official prices aren’t out yet, the 200 Duke is likely to demand Rs 5-6000 over the current-gen model.
