Earth Energy debuts with three electric two-wheelers

The newly launched range offers a competent range of tech straight from the factory, along with the provision for a smartphone app

Earth Energy EV, a Mumbai-based automotive startup has launched its three electric two-wheelers Glyde+, Evolve R and Evolve X. Earth Energy claims the new range comprises 96 per cent made in India EVs, made possible by tying up with only Indian OEMs and domestic auto part manufacturers. Additionally, Earth Energy says the batteries for its EVs are made in-house, at their 7000 square foot R&D setup in Vasai, Mumbai. Prices start at Rs 92,000 for the Glyde+ and go up to Rs 1.42 lakh for the Evolve R. All the vehicles will be available in three colours - Marshal grey, Jet Black, and White, and customers can purchase the product from select dealers and distributors and trade partners for bulk orders appointed by the company across India.

Earth Energy Glyde+

Glyde+ :

With a design inspired by an eagle and powered by a 2.4W electric motor, it offers a claimed top speed of 60kmph, and is built primarily for riding within the city.

Earth Energy Evolve Z

Evolve Z :

Hinting more towards a city bike, the Evolve Z supports a 96 AH Li-ion battery, with a claimed range of 100km and 15 degrees of gradability.

Earth Energy Evolve R

Evolve R :

Conceptualised as a cruiser, the Evolve R boasts fast charging with a claimed full recharge time of 40 minutes, with up to 110km at full charge.

Additional features of Earth Energy EVs

All Earth Energy’s vehicles can be coupled with the Earth Energy smartphone app that helps the rider to keep live location status, incoming calls/messages alert, trip history, and current destination on-screen for uninterrupted riding. The app also allows the third party usage model for food delivery agents. The entire order mapping can be easily done on the display screen itself. Besides, the app can digitally clone the user’s vehicle information and provides up to 270 parameters to diagnose, and also book the maintenance. Besides, the all three EVs also utilise what the brand calls Smartin True Sense technology, which includes automatic headlight along with day/night modes on the LCD display, and smartphone-based turn-by-turn navigation.
