Ducati has introduced two new variants for the 2025 Ducati Scrambler motorcycle – called the Scrambler Icon Dark and the Scrambler Full Throttle. The Icon Dark is finished in a total black livery while the Full Throttle is revamped with a black and bronze livery along with additional kit for the new model year.

The Ducati Scrambler Icon Dark gets an all-black colour scheme

The Scrambler Icon Dark is finished in dark black, making for a minimalistic look. The iconic teardrop tank, which is a distinctive element of the Scrambler, is finished in total black livery, creating a play of shades between the different surfaces and elements, such as those on the front mudguard, The Ducati Scrambler logo on the Dark Stealth tank is modern and in line with the aggressiveness of the matt black. The essential side panels and sporty tail fairing make the Dark line even lighter and sleeker.

The Ducati Scrambler Full Throttle features a black and bronze colour scheme

The Scrambler Full Throttle is the sportiest model in the Ducati Scrambler range and is claimed to be inspired by the motorcycles used in the US Flat Track competitions on dirt ovals. The side number plates bear the number 62 – indicating the year 1962, which was the debut year of the Ducati Scrambler. The motorcycle is inspired by the ‘tracker’ style, featuring a sump guard and an aggressive look. The sportiness is also aided by the seat upholstery and the black and bronze heritage livery, with the colour also featuring itself on the aluminium alloy wheels – inspired by 1970s racing motorcycles and cars. The Full Throttle also gets a black finish on the exhaust heat shields and front side covers. The Scrambler Full Throttle features a lowered handlebar with variable section, a short front mudguard, a tail without a rear mudguard, a Termignoni silencer, Ducati Performance LED indicators and a bi-directional quickshifter.

Ducati Scrambler engine and chassis

Both the Ducati Scrambler variants are powered by an 803cc L-twin engine that produces 72bhp of power, paired to a 6-speed transmission. In terms of the chassis, both the Scramblers are based on a tubular steel trellis frame. Suspension duties are handled by an upside down Kayaba 41 mm fork at the front and a Kayaba rear shock at the rear, with preload adjust.

The new and updated Scrambler Icon Dark and the Scrambler Full Throttle will be available on sale in global markets starting from October and December 2024, respectively, and it is yet to be confirmed whether the motorcycles will be making it to our shores anytime soon. Prices for the motorcycles have not yet been revealed either but you can expect the Icon Dark and the Full Throttle variants of the Scrambler to command a premium over the standard motorcycle.
