The Triumph Scrambler 1200 XC and XE were unveiled back in back in 2018 and offered a fresh take on big-bore Scrambler and were filled to the brim with tech and features. And now, the Hinckley based manufacturers have showcased the 2021 iterations of the Scrambler 1200 XC and XE along with a limited run Steve McQueen Edition which is based on the higher-spec Scrambler 1200 XE. Only 1000 of these will ever be made.

Triumph Scrambler 1200 XC and XE powertrain
For 2021, the 1200cc Bonneville twin-cylinder engine has been reworked to conform with the stringent Euro5 emissions norms. Despite complying with stricter emission norms, the Scrambler 1200 continues to make 88.7bbhp but this time around, it makes it 150rpm lower at 7250rpm. Even the peak torque at 110Nm remains unchanged but it makes it 550rpm higher at 4500rpm. Other updates include a redesigned exhaust system, which has helped with heat management, something that was a major complaint with the outgoing model.
