Moto Morini bikes launched in India, prices start at Rs 6.89 lakh

Moto Morini has launched two motorcycles in India, the X-Cape and the Seiemmezzo 6½

Mandar Savant

Chinese-owned Italian motorcycle maker Moto Morini has finally revealed prices of the X-Cape 650 adv-tourer and the Seiemmezzo neo-retro naked, with prices starting from ₹6.8 lakh to ₹7.5 lakh. Both the motorcycles are available in two variants with three colour schemes each.

Moto Morini X-Cape 650

The X-Cape 650 will be Moto Morini's flagship offering for the Indian market. It is an adventure tourer that's powered by a 649cc parallel-twin powerplant which churns out 59.1bhp 54Nm of torque. It also gets an 'X' variant, the X-Cape 650X, which is more off-road focussed. As a result, the X-Cape 650X gets some off-road kit — a 19-inch front wheel with spoke wheels and Pirelli’s Scorpion STR knobby rubber.

The Moto Morini X-Cape 650 twins get a tall windscreen, to shield you on those long cross country rides and a long fairing with vents on either side. There's also a twin headlight setup with projector units that look rather cool and a sharp tail section.

Here's the full price list of the Moto Morini X-Cape 650 motorcycles:

Moto Morini Seiemmezzo 6½

The Seiemmezzo will be Moto Morini's most affordable offering in India. It is a neo-retro styled naked which can be had in either the standard 'Retro Street' or a more off-road focussed 'Retro Scrambler' avatar. Both the bikes get a circular LED headlight with a round DRL and they also feature USD forks, golden on the Retro Scrambler, along with a large fuel tank. The Seiemmezzo Retro Scrambler also gets a motocross style front fender and a raised handlebar hinting at its off-road creds. The Seiemmezzo twins are powered by a 649cc engine which produces 54.2bhp and 54Nm of torque. Although it should be noted that the engine is in a different state of tune on the Scrambler to suit its character.
