The Lamborghini Aventador LP780-4 Ultimae was just launched a few weeks ago, albeit in its topless form. For those of you who prefer cars without a split-personality, the Raging Bull from Italy has now also launched the Aventador LP780-4 Ultimae Coupe. The Aventador LP780-4 Ultimae is the last of Lamborghini’s non-hybrid V12 supercars, and with a limited global production run of just 350 units, you may want to whip out your cheque book before you finish reading this piece!

The Aventador LP780-4 Ultimae is built on a carbonfibre monocoque chassis, and also makes use of carbonfibre elements on its exterior. It gets a revised front bumper for increased aerodynamic load, and the revised splitters on both ends aid in aerodynamic efficiency and engine cooling. The Aventador Coupe comes in a dual-tone theme, and its razor-sharp profile will make it instantly recognizable as a raging bull.

The 6.5-litre nat-asp V12 powertrain is here in its most powerful iteration

The 6.5-litre naturally-aspirated powertrain continues to do its duties in the Aventador Ultimae Coupe as well, in its most powerful iteration churning out 769bhp and 720Nm of torque, giving it an extra 10 horses over the SVJ. This powertrain is paired to a seven-speed single-clutch transmission, and it gets permanent all-wheel drive, along with rear-wheel steering. The Aventador Ultimae maxes out at a top speed of 355kmph and hits triple digits in just 2.8 seconds — your co-passenger may need to start looking for diapers at that point. At a claimed dry weight figure of 1550kg, the Aventador LP780-4 Ultimae Coupe is 25kg lighter than the Aventador S. To bring this supercar to a halt, Lamborghini has given it a carbon ceramic braking setup with six-piston aluminium fixed monobloc calipers at the front, and a four-piston setup at the rear.

Cannot wait to get into these interiors!

The interiors of the car are swathed in a combination of black leather and Alcantara upholstery with grey stitching. An optional laser-cut contrast color Y-motif is also available as an option, and the driver-side A-pillar will feature the production number of your car.

As with the Ultimae Roadster, Lamborghini hasn’t disclosed any prices for the Aventador LP780-4 Coupe, but we expect it to be offered at approximately Rs 6 crore. The Aventador LP 780-4 Coupe goes up against the McLaren 720S and the Ferrari F8 Tributo.
