Spy shots are always interesting to come across, and what we have here is extremely essential for the future of a certain brand. Earlier this year, Jeep revealed images of its first-ever fully electric SUV at the Dare Forward 2030 Presentation, and while we do know what the electric Jeep SUV looks like, everything else remains under wraps, including the name!

The rear seems to resemble the Renegade

Jeep is keeping every technical information of the electric SUV under very tight wraps, but we can expect it to be underpinned by Stellantis’ eVMP platform, which should give it a WLTP-claimed range of 400-650km. In terms of its design, the unnamed electric SUV retains Jeep trademarks such as the seven-slat grille, albeit in a closed-off form to emphasise on its electric drivetrain. When viewed from the front, it may remind you of the Compass, while the overall profile and the rear looks familiar to the Renegade which is on sale globally. The hidden rear door handle gives it a three-door look, and the claddings at the lower-half of the body lend it a butch, muscular identity. We can expect this model to feature light off-roading ability, while its main focus could be on delivering a good driving experience on the road. Nothing is known about the interiors yet, but we expect it to make use of high-quality materials and also offer a bunch of equipment.

There are traces of the Compass here

The unnamed electric SUV will be unveiled globally in 2023, and Jeep plans to cover every SUV segment with at least one electric product by 2025. As for the name itself, unconfirmed reports suggest the return of the Jeepster nametag that was laid to rest in the 1950s.

At the Dare Forward 2030, Stellantis also confirmed the Dodge electric muscle car is set to make its global debut this year. We have spoken about it, and you can read that by clicking here.
