Indian Motorcycle has announced the introduction of the 2020 FTR 1200 Rally at the EICMA 2019 motor show. The FTR Rally features a more upright riding position than its 1200 or 1200S brethren, courtesy a new Protaper handlebar that is 50mm higher. The 1203cc 60 degree V-twin engine has got a slight bump up in power, now making 124.7bhp whereas the torque figures remain the same at 120Nm.
Visually, there are quite a few changes, with the trellis frame now black in colour, and the alloy wheels making way for aluminum wire wheels with red pinstripes. Next, the tank now gets the Indian motorcycle headdress logo. Also, whereas the FTR1200 and 1200S feature an unshrouded headlight, the Rally iteration gets a small windscreen with red pinstriping mimicking that on the wheels. Lastly, the Dunlop DT3-R tyres have been replaced by Pirelli Scorpion STRs.
Other components, such as the LED headlight and indicators, USD front forks and radially-mounted Brembo brakes remain the same as before.
