To make life easier for e-tron consumers, Audi has added a new initiative called ‘Charge my Audi’ - a one-stop solution within the myAudiConnect app for locating charging stations. On the app, e-tron owners will be able to locate over 750 new charging stations now. The extension of Audi’s charging network in India makes it more convenient for e-tron consumers to plan their driving route and with the app, locate nearby charging stations easier than before, making the overall EV ownership experience better.

'Charge my Audi' can locate over 750 charging stations in India

To increase the charging network, instead of going through the longer and more capital-intensive way of setting up charging stations themselves, Audi India has partnered with five charging solution providers across the country - Aargo EV Smart, Charge Zone, Relux Electric, LionCharge and Zeon Charging. To begin with, while the company has announced an addition of 750 chargers, this number is bound to grow as the charging solution providers expand their network.  Mercedes-Benz India offers free charging for a year for its EV owners. Similarly, e-tron owners will benefit from complimentary charging across this newly developed and vast charging network for four months till August 2023.

The ‘Charge my Audi’ feature will also identify available charging terminals, along with the start and stop charging feature, and also a single payment gateway for paying the service. This eliminates the hassle of downloading multiple applications for accessing the service.

According to Mr Balbir Singh Dhillon, the Head of Audi India, “Audi India is focused on customer centricity. We are continuously evaluating and introducing solutions for our customers that make the ownership experience hassle-free. ‘Charge my Audi’ is a one-of-a-kind, industry first initiative that maximises customer convenience.” The German carmaker has also announced that it will launch the e-tron SUV successor, the Q8 e-tron, later this year.
