Hyundai Motor India has revealed the interior sketches for the 2020 Creta that is scheduled to be launched on March 17. Hyundai has already unveiled the 2020 Creta at the Auto Expo 2020 in the presence of Shah Rukh Khan. The Creta is based on the company’s new design language of “SENSUOUS SPORTINESS” that consists of four key design elements that are technology, architecture, proportion and styling. The Hyundai Creta is also based on the ix25 that Hyundai sells in China, but interior wise we will get an India specific interior layout.

The design sketches released by Hyundai feature an attractive and upgraded interior for the new Creta. The Creta comes with a multi-function, flat-bottom steering wheel and a centre mounted infotainment display system that has Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and Hyundai's Blue Link Connectivity Technology. The dashboard gets some modern minimalist design touches that are accented by neatly crafted leather.

Under the hood, the Creta will come with the same engine as the Kia Seltos that is the 1.5-litre petrol producing 113 bhp and develops 144 Nm of torque and a 1.5-litre diesel engine with 113 bhp and 250 Nm of torque as well as 1.4 turbocharged petrol 138 bhp and develop 242 Nm of torque engine also.

The Creta will be positioned above the Venue and below the Tucson in Hyundai’s SUV portfolio competing against the other mid-size SUVs in the segments. It will also have to deal with the likes of the KIA Seltos and MG hector that has been dominating this segment over the past few months in terms of sales figures.
