Isuzu has launched a facelifted version of their seven-seater SUV, the MU-X starting at Rs 26.26 lakh (ex-showroom, Hyderabad). The MU-X gets refreshed ‘Eagle inspired’ styling, premium interiors, improved safety, and essential features.
The new Isuzu MU-X now gets redesigned front and rear bumpers. The interiors now come with ‘Lava Black’ upholstery with quilted leather seats for more comfort. The premium SUV now gets 6-Airbags compared to the 2-Airbags in the previous model. It is also equipped with hill descent control (HDC). The new MU-X features Bi-LED auto leveling projector headlamps, daylight running lamps and a refreshed taillight with LED position lights. Adding to the aesthetic appeal, the rear spoiler now comes in 2-tone, the shark-fin antenna is given a gun metal finish and is equipped with new 18-inch multi-spoke diamond cut alloy wheels.

Powering the SUV is a 3.0-litre 4JJ1 diesel motor that puts out 174bhp and 390Nm of peak torque. The new MU-X is available in 4×2 and 4×4 variants, with a 5-speed sequential shift automatic transmission. The 4×4 variant sports a ‘shift on the fly’ select dial for offroad usage and has a ground clearance of 230mm.
The new MU-X costs Rs 26.26 lakh for the 4×2 variant and Rs 28,22 lakh for the 4×4 variant.
