TVS Motor Company has introduced the BS6-compliant version of the Zest 110, priced at Rs.58460 (ex-showroom Chennai). The 110cc engine, to tide over the BS6 emissions norms now gets ET-Fi tech which ensures, as TVS says, a long-lasting, trouble-free, and comfortable ride experience for customers with better mileage and performance.

Apart from inclusion of fuel injection which is part and parcel of the BS6 upgrade, the Zest 110 stays virtually unchanged on paper, its engine making 7.8bhp of power and 8.8 Nm of torque. It continues with the telescopic front suspension and hydraulic rear mono-shock, with 90/100-10 tubeless tyres shod on pressed steel wheels fore and aft.

Except for the inclusion of the fuel injection tech, the BS6 version is virtually identical to its predecessor

The BS6-ready Zest 110 will be available in two variants: Himalayan High Series and Matte Series, and will come in six colours, namely Red, Blue, Purple, Black, Yellow and Turquoise Blue. In terms of competition, the Zest 110 will go up against the Hero Motocorp Pleasure Plus Fi, Honda Activa 6G, Yamaha Fascino 125 Fi and the Suzuki Access 125.
