Starting October 2024, the KTM 200 Duke receives an update in the form of an all-new 5-inch colour TFT display equipped with navigation and Bluetooth connectivity. Prices for the updated 200 Duke start from ₹2.03 lakh, and here’s what you get with the update.
The 5-inch colour TFT display, derived from the Gen-3 KTM 390 DUKE, gives you everything you need at a glance. This bonded glass display is paired with a new switch cube, with 4-way menu switches that allow easy interaction with all vehicle functions – even smartphone connectivity. The connectivity functions allow riders to play music, take incoming calls, and get to where they're going with turn-by-turn navigation when paired through the KTM My-Ride app.
Riders can connect to the KTM Connect app via their phone's Bluetooth and utilise KTM's navigation tool through the new TFT display.
This function allows the rider to see the identification of incoming calls on the TFT display and, using the mode switch, accept or decline the call. As a safety measure, accessing the phone's address book and making outgoing calls is not possible while riding.
With a paired Bluetooth helmet headset, headset pairing allows a KTM MY RIDE-equipped bike to take control of the smartphone's music player for listening while riding. Using the left handlebar-mounted menu switch, the rider can toggle between tracks on a playlist or music archive and control the volume, with the information of the track displayed on the bike's TFT screen.
Switchable through the TFT display, Supermoto ABS means disengaging the ABS braking function on the rear end of the bike. This feature is provided for specific purposes, such as controlled slides needed for competition or the demands of Supermoto riding.
Riders can customise their shift RPM and limit RPM using the left handlebar-mounted menu switch. After setting, the 5-inch colour TFT display transforms between a dark-themed and an orange-themed display.
The TFT layout of menus, options, and infographics is customisable by the rider to show what is going on throughout the ride. Even shortcuts of certain functions can be customised through the screen.
