The Triumph Speed Triple is possibly one of the maddest motorcycles on sale today, and now Triumph has updated its entire range with some of the most extreme upgrades yet. With more power than ever before, upgraded technology and track-tuned suspension, the Street Triple lineup is now three motorcycles. Here’s a look at what has changed in one of the best naked sportsbikes on sale.

2023 Triumph Speed Triple R

This is what Triumph calls the most essential expression of the Speed Triple range, or what can be called the entry point of the range. The Speed Triple R is powered by the 765cc triple engine, producing 118bhp and 80Nm of torque. It has a more edgy style and a new ergonomic riding position. There is also an upgraded rider electronics suite derived from motorsport.

2023 Triumph Speed Triple RS and Moto 2

The Speed Triple RS is the flagship of the Speed Triple range, with improved performance, extra styling and even more power. From the same 765cc triple, this time producing 128bhp and 80Nm of torque. It adds the high-end Brembo Stylema brakes that are motorsport derived. This makes it the most powerful Speed Triple ever.

As a bonus, to celebrate their involvement as the sole engine supplier to the Moto 2 racing series, the last step on the motorcycle racing ladder before the pinnacle, MotoGP, Triumph has surprised fans with a limited Moto 2 Edition of the Speed Triple RS. With only 765 units (cheeky) to be produced, this is a very special motorcycle indeed. Most obvious are the new graphics, with a Moto 2 livery in two very bright colours. Otherwise, the Moto 2 Edition comes shod in Pirelli Diablo Supercorsa SP V3 track-ready tyres, track-tuned and fully adjustable Öhlins suspension and a carbon fibre chassis. There is also Moto 2 tech such as cornering ABS, switchable cornering traction control and a 5-inch full color TFT display. To aid in launches, there is also front wheel lift control.

The Triumph Speed Triple range will be available in 2023, although details about an India launch are not yet available. These look to be the most exciting and crazy iterations of the motorcycle yet, and we can’t wait!
