Ducati organises first-ever Shell Ducati Rider’s Day

The event was highlighted by the presence of Andrea Dovizioso and announcement of Ducati India’s new team for the 2019 National championship

Ducati organized the first edition of Shell Ducati Rider’s Day in association with Shell Lubricants on Sunday at Buddh International Circuit. The event was attended by Ducati’s MotoGP pilot, Andrea Dovizioso.

Ducati also organized the first DRE Road Academy, which was conducted by DRE-certified instructor Anand Dharmaraj. The Road Academy is aimed at improving the rider’s road riding skills. This was followed by the Ducati Open Track Day which provided all Ducati superbike owners, excluding the Scrambler range, an opportunity to ride on the track.

Andrea Dovizioso, who visited the country for the first time, spoke about his experience with Desmosedici GP19 bike as well as MotoGP.

The event also witnessed Ducati India unveil its official riding team for the 2019 competitive season with Rajini Krishnan, Dilip Lalwani, and Neharika Yadav. Additionally, Aakash Rajshakha and Bhumik Lalwani were also named as the official riders for the North Star Automotive Ducati’s dealer partner team.
