2025 Dakar Rally | Yazeed Al Rajhi wins the Dakar Rally; Daniel Sanders wins in the bikes category and Hero MotoSports finish seventh overall
After twelve harsh stages, Yazeed Al-Rajhi has bagged the overall win at the 2025 Dakar Rally and Red Bull KTM Factory Racing rider Daniel Sanders has won in the bikes class;
The 2025 Dakar Rally has come to an end after two weeks of gruelling racing in the harsha climate of Saudi Arabia. Saudi Billionaire Yazeed Al-Rajhi, along with his co-driver Timo Gottschalk, has won the 2025 Dakar Rally in his eleventh attempt, racing for the Overdrive Racing team. He was followed by the South African duo of Henk Lategan and Brett Cummings who finished at P2 in the cars category, just 03min and 57sec behind Al-Rajhi. Mattias Ekstrom and his co-driver Emil Bergkvist have rounded off the podium in the overall standings.
Red Bull KTM Factory Racing rider Daniel Sanders has won in the bikes class, followed by Tosha Schareina, 8min 50sec behind. Adrien Van Beveren finished in third place 14min and 46sec behind the leader. Tosha and Adrien, were both racing for the Monster Energy Honda HRC team.
Czech driver Martin Macik has won in the trucks class, followed by Mitchel Van Den Brink and Ales Loprais in P2 and P3 respectively.
In the final, 12th, stage Lucas Moraes has topped the podium in the cars class, while Daniel Sanders has crossed the chequered flag with the fastest time, winning in the bikes category. Here are the full results of stage 12 of the 2025 Dakar Rally.
2025 Dakar Rally Stage 12: Bikes category standings
Stage 12 of the 2025 Dakar Rally saw team Red Bull Factory Racing’s Daneil Sanders posting the fastest time on two wheels and securing the stage win. Tosha Schareina, who's racing for the Monster Energy Honda HRC team finished second, while Adrien Van Beveren, took third to round off the podium in the bikes category.
2025 Dakar Rally Stage 12: Cars category standings
Lucas Moraes from the Toyota Gazoo Racing team won the twelfth stage of the 2025 Dakar Rally in the cars category, followed closely by Nasser Al-Attiyah of The Dacia Sandraiders team, just 1min 33sec behind. Henk Lategan who's also driving for theToyota Gazoo Racing team in P3 completed the podium in the cars category.
2025 Dakar Rally Stage 12: Trucks category standings
Ales Loprias has won the twelfth stage in the Trucks category racing for the Instatrade Loprias team, followed by Mitchel Van Den Brink in P2, who's racing for the Eurol RallY Sport team and Vaidotas Zala in P3 who's racing for Skuba Team De Rooy FTP.
Indians at the 2025 Dakar Rally
Indian rally driver Sanjay Takale finished 5th overall in the stage. He stood at P18 in his class at the end of the 2025 Dakar Rally.
