Oliver Rowland of Mahindra Racing looks to continue Mahindra Racing's winning ways in Marrakesh

Team Evo India

We’re in Marrakesh for the tenth round of the FIA ABB Formula E Championship and we’re really hoping to replicate some of Mahindra Racing’s prior success on the Circuit International Automobile Moulay El Hassan. The team took pole position in the inaugural Marrakesh E-Prix in 2016: consecutive race wins in 2018 and 2019: and the fastest lap in 2020 so, while the pressure is high, so is the confidence.

We’ve shown good progress this season - we had a good race in Berlin, and great pace in Jakarta, so it’s time to put it all together and get inside the points. The battery thermal side will be interesting, as it’s going to be very hot, and we need to keep the tyres under control but it’s something we’ve been working very hard towards so let’s see how it goes!

We’re expecting the highs to be around 39 degrees centigrade, which means the race will start slightly later than usual at 17:00 local time, which is 21:30 IST.

Keep an eye on the Mahindra Racing social channels to follow our performance over the weekend and to see exclusive and behind the scenes content. You can also Fanboost me, which gives me an extra boost of power during the race. Find out all the information on how to do this at the Formula E website here: https://fanboost.fiaformulae.com
