Royal Enfield concludes the first edition of its Slide School Cup in India

The first edition of the Royal Enfield Slide School India has concluded in Jaipur, after a course of three months across Goa, Bengaluru, and Pune. The event which began at Motoverse 2024 witnessed riders from across the country compete on purpose-built FT 411 Slide School motorcycles. The first edition of the Slide School Cup in India was won by Anish Shetty.

To give you more perspective, The Slide School Cup arrived in India following its debut in Europe in 2024, and this flat track racing format takes the Slide School training program to the next level. The Slide School Cup is designed to let riders put their skills to the test in flat track racing. With the aim of making motorsports more accessible for riders and enthusiasts, the Slide School Cup was introduced to transform the Slide School into a competitive racing platform. With over 12 competitors vying for the title in the Slide School Cup India, the competition was fierce throughout the course of seven races.

The finale race of the Slide School Cup India was concluded with a tie between Anish Shetty and Sathya Raj Arumugam with 39 points each. However, Shetty was announced the champion as he won the race of the final round. Sathya Raj Arumugam was the first-runner up, followed by Karan Drishya who was the second runner-up with 29 points. The finale weekend was kicked off with an international flat track masterclass by Gary Birtwistle, a celebrated flat track racer. The masterclass gave the riders an opportunity to learn, develop and practice the tips and tricks shared by Gary Birtwistle before the final showdown.
