The monsoon scooter mayhem is back with its 29th season organised by the renowned Sportscraft India. The Rally is scheduled for 7 and 8 July 2018 and will be organised by the renowned Sportscraft India.
Sportscraft is a company that has organised numerous Motorsport events and has entered Limca Book of Records for having conducted 250 events, ranging from gymkhana races, car and bike rallies, 4×4 off-beat drives to dirt track races. Sportscraft India has also assisted various Clubs and Sports Associations to organise Sports for its Members.
The rally involves riders going through treacherous terrain and densely forested areas within a specified time limit to avoid a time penalty. The riders will have to evade through the sharp turns which are formidable obstacles for any rider to overcome and complete the race. There has been constant pressure to include geared motorcycles, but the committee has decided to keep this as a traditional scooter rally.
Last year, the rally was held on a 40 km long course in the backwoods of Navi Mumbai. The course distance and location for this year is still unannounced, but nevertheless, it will be in a course that is challenging and shows the true colours of the monsoon rally.
