Ducati unveils the Panigale V4 Lamborghini
Called the Ducati Panigale V4 Lamborghini, the bike is an offspring of a marriage between the Panigale V4 S and the Lamborghini Revuelto;
Ducati has unveiled the Panigale V4 Lamborghini. This bike is the third spawn, from a wedding between two angry Italians, Ducati and Lamborghini. The previous two offerings being the Streetfighter V4 Lamborghini inspired by the Huràcan STO and the Diavel 1260 Lamborghini inspired by the Sián FKP 37. Like the other bikes that have come from the collaboration between the two brands, the Panigale V4 Lamborghini takes design and styling cues from a supercar of the Italian marquee. This time around, it is the flagship Revuelto
Ducati Panigale V4 Lamborghini styling
The bike gets dual-color livery in Grigio Telesto and Nero Noctis, enhanced by details in Verde Scandal (Lamborghini speak for grey, black and high-visibility green). The colour goes on to feature on the brake calipers and the band edged in Nero Noctis (black), which runs from the front hood to the vehicle's tail. The 17-inch alloys on the bike also come in Y-shaped Altanero Shiny Black design and finish inspired by the Revuelto, whereas the tailpiece and wings have been reworked by Ducati's designers following the lines of the super sports car from Sant’Agata Bolognese. Livery based on the interior of the Revuelto, black colour of carbon fiber with visible texture, details in Verde Scandal (fluorescent green), Grigio Telesto (grey) and Grigio Acheso (lighter grey) and a dedicated seat. Even the heat shield, heel guard, and front and rear mudguards are made of carbon fibre, using the same weave featured in Lamborghini’s super cars.
Ducati Panigale V4 Lamborghini features and race kit
The Panigale V4 Lamborghini also gets an exposed dry clutch as well as adjustable footrests, brake and clutch levers, and counterweights made from billet aluminium. The ones that are brave enough to take their bike on the track will have the option of a racing tank cap in billet aluminium, brake calliper conveyors, carbon fibre open clutch cover, and a license plate holder removal kit, that will come with the bike.
The add-ons don't end there the bike also features a plate on the engine bearing its name (Desmosedici Stradale); the triple clamp being machined from billet aluminium and includes the name of the motorbike and the example number; a dedicated dashboard animation at when the bike is turned-on. The same number is also laser-etched onto the aluminium badge of the ignition key.
Each Panigale V4 Lamborghini will also be supplied with a certificate of authenticity and a dedicated motorbike cover delivered in a special personalised box matching the livery.
The exclusivity also extends to its delivery since every Panigale V4 Lamborghini will be delivered in an exclusive customised wooden crate, complete with a dedicated rear stand once again matching the bike's livery. Alongside the bike, Ducati has also launched accessories for the rider. A suit and jacket in collaboration with Dainese whereas a helmet in collaboration with Arai matching the livery of the bike.
Ducati Panigale V4 Lamborghini engine and chassis
Mechanically, the Panigale V4 Lamborghini remains largely unchanged and is based on the Panigale V4 S and gets all the kit that that bike gets. This special edition however comes equipped with Akrapovič titanium silencer that helps in shedding 2 kgs as compared to the Panigale V4 S, thus bringing the wet weight without fuel of the bike down to 185 kgs. Suspension and braking components remain unchanged as well.
Ducati Panigale V4 Lamborghini availability
630 examples of the Panigale V4 Lamborghini will be built, with an even more exclusive series, named the Speciale Clienti, available only to 63 Lamborghini customers. These select few, in direct contact with the Ducati Centro Stile, will be able to transfer the color scheme of their Lamborghini to their Ducati Panigale V4 Lamborghini Speciale Clienti, or else choose from color combinations proposed by the Ducati Centro Stile.
