Triumph Tiger 900 teasers out !
Triumph Motorcycles has just showcased a show teaser video that announces the all new Triumph Tiger 900 range that is all set to be launched on December 3rd . The shot clip that was published on all the Triumph social media handles just showed a few action shots of the bike, from the video we can make out that the bike will sports a mono-brow style DRL that is placed just about the headlight and will give it a distinct look. Along with a glimpse of the headlightis we were also treated to shot of the new gold forks that look to be Showa units that were spotted in test images of the bike which had surfaced a few weeks back
Triumph will be offering two variants of the bike - the Rally and GT, it will slot the bike into a new segment due to the increased engine size to 900cc . The Rally will be the more off road version of the Tiger and the GT will be oriented more towards long distance touring. This new Triumph Tiger 900 might replace the current generation Tiger 800 range as the new bike will be up to new emission norms .
As of now we do not have any details about the new 900cc triumph power unit , but most likely it will have a power output upwards of 100bhp. The new Tiger will also feature a whole suite of electronic aids , cornering ABS and traction control. Going by the tears videos the all new Tiger 900 gets a new design language while maintaining the legendary Tiger profile. India launched for the bike will most likely be mid 2020.
