Renault has launched the MY24 Kwid, Kiger and Triber with some updates and newer variants. The Kwid starts at Rs 4.69 lakh and gets a new AMT variant priced at Rs 5.44 lakh, making it the most-affordable automatic in India. It gets a touchscreen display, 14+ standard safety features and more updates. The Kiger starts at Rs 5.99 lakh, while the new AMT variant is priced at Rs 7.09 lakh. Renault has added two new variants, sporty-looking red brake calipers, leatherette seats and a bezel-less IRVM to the Kiger. The Triber starts at Rs 5.99 lakh and the AMT variant is now more affordable at Rs 8.12 lakh. It also benefits from additional features and a new paint option.
The MY2024 Renault Kwid becomes the most-affordable automatic in the country now and gets an 8-inch display with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay for the top three trim levels. It gets a new RXL(O) variant and dual-tone colour options for the ‘Climber’ trim. It gets 14+ safety features including ESC, TPMS, hill-start assist and rear seat belt reminder as standard. The prices for the base model Kwid (RXE) start from Rs 4.69 lakh, the RXL(O) AMT start from Rs 5.44 lakh, while the top-end trim costs Rs 6.32 lakh. It continues to be powered by the same 1-litre petrol engine that puts out 67bhp and 91Nm of torque.
The MY2024 Renault Kiger gets two new variants – RXL energy and RXT(O). It gets electronically-powered ORVMs and a welcome-goodbye sequence. It gets 16-inch wheels as before, but now the top trim gets red brake calipers. Inside, it gets semi-leatherette seats, a leatherette steering wheel, a bezel-less auto dimming IRVM, an LED cabin lamp and an automatic climate control system. The powertrain remains unchanged and still runs the 1-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine that makes 71bhp and 96Nm, and the 1-litre petrol turbo that makes 99bhp and 152Nm. The base model of the Kiger (RXE) costs Rs 5.99 lakh, the RXL Energy AMT costs Rs 7.09 lakh and the top-end RXT(O) with the turbo engine costs Rs 10.29 lakhs.
Renault calls the MY2024 Triber ‘the most affordable 7-seater automatic’. It gets a new 7-inch TFT display, an air purifier and a wireless charger, depending on which variant you opt for. The driver’s seat gets an armrest and the ORVMs are electronically powered. Stealth Black is a new paint option now alongside the 10 colours that are already offered. The base model of the Triber (RXE) is priced at Rs 5.99 lakh and the RXT AMT is priced at Rs 8.12 lakh. The powertrain remains unchanged and runs the same 1-litre nat-asp petrol engine that makes 71bhp and 96Nm of torque.
