Porsche fans rejoice! The 718 Cayman GT4 RS is finally making its way to India! Porsche has announced that it will be hosting the 'Festival of Dreams' on January 26, 2023, from 11am to 8pm, at Pavilion 3 of the Jio World Convention Centre in BKC, Mumbai, to celebrate its 75th anniversary and showcase the first India-bound unit of the track-focussed Cayman GT4 RS, which was launched at ₹2.54 crore last year.

Powering the GT4 RS is a 4-litre nat-asp flat-six engine that churns out 496bhp and 480Nm of peak torque. It sends power to the rear wheels via a seven-speed PDK and doesn't stop revving until 9000rpm.

In terms of performance, the GT4 RS is capable of sprinting from 0 to 100kmph in 3.4 seconds and has a top whack of 315kmph. While those certainly are very impressive figures, the GT4 RS isn't all about the straight line speed. It is 23 seconds faster than the Cayman GT4 around the Nordschleife and that tells you a lot about its track creds. It only has 80-odd bhp more than the GT4 but the fellows at Porsche have extensively worked on its aerodynamics and that has given it such an impressive leap in terms of track performance.

The Festival of Speed will also have Porsche's entire India lineup on display, for prospective buyers, along with a section dedicated to the Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur department. The Exclusive Manufaktur programme allows you to customise your Porsche, your way! The possibilities are literally endless. This department can curate bespoke paint schemes for the interior and exterior alongwith an array of optional. There will also be a Porsche Lifestyle and Porsche Soul Garage section at the Festival of Dreams, which will include memorabilia and official accessories.

The best part? This event is open to the public free at no charge at all! All you have to do is register on the Porsche India website, click here, and get the QR entry code for the venue. So, mark the date and reserve your free ticket
