KTM Pro-XP has a reputation for catering to the motorcycling community, which has placed its trust in the brand. For a long time, it has organised various racing events, motorcycle training sessions, and off-road adventures. Over the past three years, more than 25000 KTM owners have taken part in and benefited from the Pro-XP program. This time, KTM India has announced its first international tour, an adventure tour from Gwalior to Upper Mustang in Nepal.
‘The most dangerous places lead to the most beautiful destinations’. Popularly known as ‘The Last Forbidden Kingdom of Nepal’, Upper Mustang is considered one of the toughest destinations for adventure motorcyclists. Due to its past as a restricted area up until 1992, this location exudes exclusivity and mystery. The Upper Mustang is a challenging and thrilling stretch from Pokhara to Lo Manthang. The roads are mostly a mix of mud tracks strewn with rocks and sandy trails, making them not for the faint of heart.
The KTM Pro-XP Upper Mustang adventure tour begins in Gorakhpur on May 27 and travels through Kathmandu, Pokhara, Lete, Jomsom, Lo Manthang, Nupra Pass, Samar, Muktinath, Tatopani, and Pokhara before returning to Gorakhpur on June 8. However, this 13-day international tour is limited to KTM Adventure owners only. Participants will receive individualised coaching and support from renowned off-road experts from Nepal in order to improve their riding abilities and reach their full potential. This iconic KTM Adventure tour will include all of this in addition to a full-day, high-altitude Adventure Academy at Nupra Pass.
The KTM Adventure motorcycles are well-suited for taking on any adventure with confidence and precision. Designed with inspiration from KTM’s dominance in rally racing, it boasts a WP APEX long travel suspension, tubeless tyres that are suitable for off-road use, and a strong engine are just a few examples that add to the vehicle's exceptional off-road capabilities. On the 390 Adventure, with its sophisticated traction control and riding modes, it adapts to various terrains with ease. The bike's ergonomic layout and comfortable seats improve the rider's comfort during extended distances through difficult terrain.
