After a stellar 2021 and giving us as many as 11 motorcycles, Ducati India has started off 2022 on a good note as well. The Ducati Scrambler 1100 Tribute Pro has finally been launched in India at a price of Rs 12.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The Scrambler 1100 Tribute Pro was among the range of motorcycles that was unveiled at the 2022 Ducati World Premiere last year, and it is likely that more motorcycles will follow.
Ducati Scrambler 1100 Tribute Pro Design
As the name suggests, the Ducati Scrambler 1100 Tribute Pro is a tribute to Ducati’s fifty years of using the air-cooled twin cylinder engines. It draws inspiration from the 750 Sport from back in the day, with its yellow-ochre paint scheme, the old Ducati logo, and black-finished spoke wheels. The exposed mechanicals receive blacked-out treatment, and there’s also a new brown seat to add to the modern-classic feeling.
Ducati Scrambler 1100 Tribute Pro Powertrain and Chassis
Under the skin, the Scrambler 1100 Tribute Pro is identical to the 1100 Pro, which means it retains the 1079cc air-cooled L-twin powertrain which puts out 84bhp at 7500rpm, and 88Nm of torque at 4750rpm, mated to a six-speed transmission.
The Ducati Scrambler 1100 Tribute Pro is underpinned by a steel tubular frame, which hangs off of Marzocchi 45mm fully-adjustable USD forks up front, and a Kayaba progressive linkage monoshock at the rear. Braking setup comes from Brembo, with the Tribute Pro receiving M4.32 Monobloc four-piston calipers mounted on 320mm twin-floating discs up front, and a single-piston caliper mounted on a 245mm disc. It also sports Pirelli MT 60 RS 18 and 17-inch wheels at the front and rear respectively.
