Ducati has launched the Monster SP in India at a price of ₹15.95 lakh (ex-showroom). The motorcycle features revised styling elements and additional hardware changes. This motorcycle would compete with the likes of the Kawasaki Z900, Triumph Street Triple 765 RS, and BMW F 900 R.

Ducati Monster SP 2023 design

The 2022 factory team's Desmosedici GP colours are carried over to the Ducati Monster SP 2023, which further emphasises the sporty nature of the motorcycle. The SP also gets a passenger seat cowl. Similar to the standard model, this Ducati has an oval-shaped DRL and an LED headlamp that resembles a projector. A 14-litre fuel tank integrates the front turn indicators. Weighing a total of 186kg, the bike should be easy to manoeuvre.

Ducati Monster SP 2023 chassis

The Ducati Monster SP 2023 rides on 17-inch alloy wheels wrapped in Pirelli Diablo Rosso IV tyres. The bike also ships with updated fully-adjustable Ohlins NIX 43 mm USD forks up front along with an Ohlins monoshock at the rear. The braking is handled by twin 320 mm discs up front paired with Brembo Stylema monoblock four-piston callipers and a 245 mm disc with Brembo two-piston callipers at the back.

Ducati Monster SP 2023 powertrain

Through the 973cc V-twin engine, the Ducati Monster SP 2023 produces 109.9bhp of power and 93Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox along with a slipper clutch and a bi-directional quickshifter.

Ducati Monster SP 2023 features

The bike packs a 4.3-inch TFT colour instrument cluster, which sits under a small flyscreen. The TFT display packs up features like a built-in lap timer. Other features include a launch control system,updated riding modes (Sport, Road, and Wet), cornering ABS, traction control, wheelie control, and power modes. Heated grips and the Ducati Multimedia System are optional extras.

Ducati Monster SP 2023 prices

The Ducati Monster SP is available for Rs. 15.95 lakh in India. The standard Monster, on the other hand, is listed at Rs. 12.95 lakh (all prices, ex-showroom). Ducati is accepting bookings for the Monster SP and deliveries are expected to start soon.
