Launched alongside the S23 Series of smartphones, is Samsung’s latest Galaxy Book laptops – the Galaxy Book3. There are five variants to choose from with the Galaxy Book3, Book3 Pro and Book3 Ultra being the conventional options and the Book3 Pro 360 and Book3 360 being the foldable options. It has to noted that Samsung has launched an update to the Book2 Series in less than ten months since its launch at the Mobile World Congress last year.
The Book3 Ultra is the highest end offering with a 16-inch, 1800p OLED display, an Intel i9-13900H CPU, an Nvidia RTX 4070 discrete GPU, 32GB of RAM and 1TB of fast storage. The Galaxy Book 3 Pro 360 is also available with a 16-inch 1800p OLED display, with a choice of an Intel i5-1340P or i7-1360 CPU, integrated Intel graphics, 16GB of RAM, up to 1TB of storage, and stylus support. The non-360 Galaxy Book 3 Pro is available with a 14-inch screen in addition to the 16-inch version unlike 13-inch and 15-inch versions that were launched last year.
Both the Galaxy Book3 and the Galaxy Book3 360 are available in a solitary 15-inch size with 13th gen Intel processors. It has to be noted that the Pro and Ultra laptops are powered by the Intel’s evo range of processors.
There are a number of software features that Samsung is introducing with the Book3 laptops. For instance, you can use the keyboard and trackpad to control and provide inputs for a Galaxy tablet and smartphone. You can also use your Galaxy tablet as an extended second display for your Galaxy laptop. You can copy-paste and drag and drop media from one device to another seamlessly. You can automate the transfer of the Expert RAW high-res images taken on your S23 smartphone.
