The new Royal Enfield Classic 350 has been unveiled with new colour options and added safety and convenience features. The price will be revealed on September 1. Based on the J-series engine, the bike remains the same mechanically. Along with this, Royal Enfield has also launched its Factory Custom programme allowing you to customise the bike to your liking. Here’s more:
Most of the updates on the new model are cosmetic. While the overall design remains the same, there are new paint options, bringing the total to seven. These options, available across five variants, include Madras Red, Jodhpur Blue, Medallion Bronze, Commando Sand, Gun Grey, Stealth Black, and Emerald.
Feature-wise, the standard USB charging port has been upgraded to a Type-C port. LED headlamps, LED pilot lamps, and a gear position indicator on the cluster are now standard across all variants. The top-end variants, Dark and Emerald, also come with a Tripper pod and an adjustable brake lever as standard features.
As mentioned earlier, the update doesn't include any mechanical changes. The bike still features the J-series engine introduced in 2021, which produces 20.2bhp and 27Nm of torque. This engine has proven to be well-suited for various purposes, from touring to daily commuting.
Dual-channel ABS is now standard across all variants. The chassis and suspension also remain unchanged, with a telescopic fork at the front and twin shock absorbers at the rear.
The brand is introducing a program that offers more customisation options, allowing customers to modify the appearance of their bikes directly from the factory. Each month, a limited number of slots will be available. Prices for this option have not yet been disclosed.
The prices haven’t been announced yet, but with the added features, an increase is likely. The updates have boosted the bike’s appeal, and with new customisation options, sales should remain strong. It will be available in five variants – Heritage, Heritage Premium, Signals, Dark and Emerald. The price will be revealed on September 1, and bookings will open on the same day.
