The GSX-S1000GX is a sport-touring crossover based on the GSX-S1000 GT. It has the same chassis and powertrain as the GSX-S1000 GT, but with a beefier subframe, a taller stance, and updated Showa electronic suspension. It is powered by the same 999cc inline-four engine as the Katana model, which produces 150bhp and 106Nm of torque and is paired with a 6-speed gearbox. Notable features of the GSX-S1000GX include active damping with three levels and a user mode that can be customised to the rider's preferences. It also includes a six-axis IMU, making it the first Suzuki model to include cornering ABS and traction control.

There is currently no official confirmation of the GSR-S1000GX's availability in the Indian market.

Suzuki GSX-8R

The Suzuki GSX-8R, on the other hand, is a middleweight sportbike built on the same 776cc engine platform as the GSR-8S and V-Strom 800 models. This bike has a full-fairing design and weighs 208 kg, which is slightly 6kg heavier than its naked sibling. The GSX-8R, unlike most supersport motorcycles, has a tubular handlebar rather than clip-ons mounted to the fork. While specific engine specifications have not been revealed, it is expected to have similar performance characteristics to the GSR-8S, producing around 83bhp and 78Nm of torque and mated to a 6-speed gearbox.

Suzuki currently does not offer any 800cc motorcycles in the Indian market, but there is hope for a change as the V-Strom 800DE was spotted during testing some time ago.
