Skoda Rapid Monte Carlo reintroduces the Monte Carlo marque in India

As a homage to Skoda’s Motorsport heritage and rally Monte Carlo, Skoda Auto India will be reintroducing the Monte Carlo marque. The Skoda Rapid Monte Carlo will be the first variant launched with an ex-showroom price tag of Rs 11.16 lakh.

The car is powered by a 1.5 litre TDI engine producing 108.49bhp and 250Nm of torque. The 1.6 litre MPI engine churns 103.5bhp and 153Nm of peak twist. The Skoda Rapid Monte Carlo gets dual airbags and ABS as standard, while ESC (Electronic Stability Control) is available on the DSG variant and HHC (Hill Hold Control), is available on both AT Petrol and AT Diesel variant.

The Skoda Rapid Monte Carlo features a black signature grille, gloss black mirrors with projector headlamps and LED DRL. It also gets a dual-tone 16 inch alloy wheels. The blacked-out treatment continues on the roof foil, tailgate spoiler and diffuser as well. The interiors of the Skoda Rapid Monte Carlo feature leatherette seat upholstery with grey vertical stripes.
