In a significant leap for electric two-wheelers, Chennai-based startup Raptee.HV has launched the T 30, claimed to be India’s first high-voltage electric motorcycle. Priced at ₹2.39 lakh, the bike features a CCS2 port commonly found in cars.

Raptee.HV T 30 design and features

The Raptee.HV T 30 has an unmistakable EV-like design. It comes as a naked with a covered body that houses the battery and motor components. It is available in four colour options – Horizon Red, Arctic White, Mercury Grey, and Eclipse Black. From the images, we also see LED lighting, USD forks, disk brakes, split seats and a sporty riding stance.

Although no details were revealed about the infotainment system, the brand claims it has a custom operating system based on an automotive-grade Linux platform and will deliver a responsive and intuitive user interface.

Raptee.HV T 30 battery and powertrain

It features an IP67-rated battery pack – although capacity wasn’t revealed and an onboard charger paired to a CCS2 port commonly found in cars. As for the performance, the brand claims it to perform on par with traditional 250-300cc ICE motorcycles with 0 to 60kmph acceleration in under 3.5 seconds. Raptee.HV claims a real-world range of over 150km on a single charge while the estimated IDC range stands at 200km.

The interesting fact about the bike remains to be the CCS2 port which should allow for faster charging speeds and easier access to public charging.

Raptee.HV T 30 price and warranty

The Raptee.HV T 30 is priced at ₹2.39 lakh. The bike also comes with an 8-year/80,000km warranty. Deliveries are set to begin in January 2024, starting with Chennai and Bangalore, with expansion plans based on market demand.
