Jeep India has just released the prices for the Jeep Compass Trailhawk. The range-topping variant is priced at Rs 26.8 lakh (ex-showroom, all-India), which is Rs 3.69 lakh over the Compass Limited Plus variant. Additionally, the Jeep Trailhawk is priced at just under a lakh below the base model Toyota Fortuner. The Jeep Compass range begins at Rs 15.6 lakh (ex-showroom, all-India)
The Jeep Compass Trailhawk is powered by the same BS-VI compliant 2.0-litre 170.5bhp, 350Nm turbo-diesel. Also, this BS VI engine is capable of running on BS IV fuel until 2020. It is mated to an all-new, nine-speed automatic gearbox imported from the US.
It gets a ton of features including Engine Stop/Start, Cruise Control, Hill Descent Control and built-in navigation among others. Also it gets 4X4 along with various terrain modes like Auto, Snow, Mud, Sand, and the newly added ‘Rock’ mode. The Jeep ‘Active Drive 4X4 low’ is the additional ratio in the drivetrain, providing extra traction in extreme off-road conditions like crawling past a rock or driving out of deep depressions in the ground.
