TVS Motor Company has launched the new Jupiter 110 at a starting price of ₹73,700, featuring micro-hybrid assistance. The scooter also boasts several design upgrades, including a new LED light bar at the front and rear. The upgraded engine now produces 7.9bhp and 9.2Nm of torque, with the integrated starter generator boosting the torque to 9.8Nm. It is available in four variants and six colour options. Here’s a closer look.

TVS Jupiter 110 design and features

The new Jupiter retains its familiar silhouette but introduces several enhancements, including LED lighting at both ends. The higher-end variants come equipped with an LED light bar at the front and rear and these feature integrated indicators. All chrome elements have been replaced with gloss black panels. Additionally, the fuel lid has been relocated to the front, and the scooter now includes a new digital console. At the rear, the boot space has been expanded to 30 litres, and the seat length is now 756mm.  

Other feature upgrades include an emergency brake warning, Find Me function, Follow Me Headlamps, and the TVS SmartXconnect suite with Bluetooth, enabling call, SMS, and navigation support.

Powering the new Jupiter 110 is an updated 113.3 cc single-cylinder, 4-stroke engine that delivers 7.9bhp at 6,500rpm and 9.2Nm of torque at 5,000rpm. The torque figure is boosted to 9.8Nm thanks to the iGO assist technology. TVS also claims a 10 per cent improvement in fuel efficiency over the previous model. The scooter includes an Intelligent Start/Stop function.

The chassis is entirely new and borrowed from the Jupiter 125, with adjustments to lower the centre of gravity, which TVS claims enhances ride quality and handling. The updated engine and new chassis also lower the weight to 105kg.

TVS Jupiter 110 price and rivals

The TVS Jupiter 110 is priced starting at ₹73,700 (ex-showroom) and is available in four variants: Drum, Drum Alloy, Drum SXC, and Disc SXC. It competes with other popular scooters in the segment, including the Honda Activa 6G and Hero Maestro Edge.
