New Mini Cooper S John Cooper Works Pack launched at ₹55.9 lakh

Mini India has launched the new Cooper S John Cooper Works (JCW) Pack, available as a completely built-up unit (CBU) at ₹55.9 lakh. The car blends updated technology with the traditional Mini design elements, featuring the John Cooper Works performance package.

The new Cooper S JCW features a recognisable Mini shape, a compact body, short overhangs, and a wider stance. Exterior highlights include the octagonal grille, round LED headlights, and JCW-specific details like the bumpers, side skirts, and rear spoiler. The car is available in two colours – Legend Grey and Midnight Black, with a black roof and mirror caps. Standard 17-inch Sprint-Spoke Black alloy wheels complete the look.

The interior includes sports seats with black upholstery and a JCW dashboard trim. The steering wheel has paddle shifters and the central feature of the dashboard is a 240mm circular OLED touchscreen display that offers access to navigation, entertainment, and other functions. Other interior features include a head-up display, a Harman Kardon sound system, and a fisheye camera for capturing images or video inside the car.

Mini Cooper S John Cooper Works Pack powertrain

The highlight of this car is naturally the powertrain. It gets a 2-litre petrol engine with 201bhp and 300Nm of torque. It can accelerate from 0 to 100kmph in 6.6 seconds with a top speed of 242kmph. The car is equipped with a 7-speed DCT along with adaptive suspension and JCW sport brakes.

The ex-showroom price for the new MINI Cooper S John Cooper Works Pack in India is ₹55.9 lakh. It comes as a CBU to India and deliveries will begin in April.
