Mountain Goat Expedition 2023 is here for your 4x4 thrills!

Mountain Goat Expeditions are some of the most unique and exciting lifestyle experiences you can get in India, and doubly so if you’re a 4x4 nut! The team, managed by two ex-rally drivers and fans, Suraj Tayal and Shashwat Gupta, are certified off-roaders who have been helping people get their dream off-road adventure on the road since 2015. This year, their flagship, the Winter Expedition will celebrate its 10th anniversary, from 12 February to 19 February. And for the occasion, there’s something new in store.

Mountain Goat Expeditions were sponsored by Isuzu in their initial years, and the team has now expanded to cater to a large base of off-road maniacs, whether their affiliation lies with old Mahindra Jeeps or the most extravagant super-SUVs like the Lamborghini Urus. The only condition to be a part of the game is, as Shashwat Gupta told us, “that you have to be certifiably crazy”. Sounds like a good time.

The goal of Mountain Goat Expeditions has always been to "Explore the Unexplored" by searching for hidden routes and new challenges to test their limits and set new records on every journey. An example of this is the ISUZU Discoveries Hidden Heritage expedition in Garli in November 2018 and the ISUZU Discoveries' Hidden Ladakh expedition in 2019. The company has also taken expeditions to treacherous locations such as Leh-Ladakh, Spiti, and the North East. For their tenth anniversary, the 2023 Mountain Goat Expedition Winter Expedition will be conducted from February 12-19 and the route will be from Shimla to Kaza, with a drive  through Manali and finally ending at Lahaul, covering a distance of 1500kms.
