MG Motor India has revealed the full price list of the new Windsor EV. At the time of its initial launch, prices were revealed only for the BaaS plan which let customers buy the car and rent the battery for Rs 3.5/km. However, now we know what it will cost to buy the car outright. These prices start from Rs 13.5 lakh and go up to Rs 15.5 lakh.
Positioned between the MG Comet and ZS EV, it features a 38kWh battery with a claimed 331km (MIDC) range. The electric motor delivers 134bhp and 200Nm. The Windsor EV stands out with full-width LED DRLs, 18-inch diamond-cut alloys, a 2700mm wheelbase, and 604 litres of boot space. The cabin includes a 15.6-inch infotainment display, 8.8-inch digital cluster, aero lounge rear seats, panoramic glass roof, and level 2 ADAS. For the first customer only, MG also offers a 60 per cent buyback offer and a lifetime battery warranty.
The MG Windsor EV is available in three variants – Excite, Exclusive, and Essence – which will set you back Rs 13.5 lakh, Rs 14.5 lakh and Rs 15.5 lakh (all ex-showroom) respectively. At these prices, it rivals the likes of the Tata Nexon EV priced from Rs 12.49 lakh with a claimed range of 275km, and the Mahindra XUV400 priced from Rs 15.49 lakh and offers a range of 359km. Both of these models get bigger battery options with increased claimed range.
