McLaren, the supercar manufacturer based out of Woking, England, has released teaser images of its upcoming model. As seen, the dual exhaust gets carbonfibre surrounds which is different from the 570S on which it is based. Generous amount of carbon fibre is used for the diffuser, bumper, and areas around the LED tail lights to keep the weight in check. The grey side panels also give a hint of the sculpted and aerodynamic design. Expect an aggressive looking car with cutting edge technology to make it a corner devouring beast. Apart from these two images, McLaren has not revealed any technical details regarding its new supercar yet.
More images of the car will be unveiled online on June 28 as the car is set to make its public debut at the Goodwood Festival of Speed on July 12, where it will be driven up the famed hill climb. This will be the fifth model by McLaren Automotive and is a part of the company’s Track22 business plan. McLaren states that the new car will be produced only in limited numbers, but have not yet disclosed the number of units that will be made. The company also says that the car will be powerful with ‘optimised aerodynamics’ and aims to provide an engaging driver experience. In December last year, McLaren revealed the Senna, the fastest McLaren yet.
Stay tuned for more updates on the new McLaren supercar.
