Maruti Suzuki has made the Vitara Brezza compact SUV just a little bit more appealing with the introduction of an accessory package called the Sports Limited Edition. This trim promises cosmetic enhancements both within and without. Maruti Suzuki does this by offering new seat covers, designer mats, a leather steering wheel cover and much more. But what sets this apart from other trim packages is that it can be retrofitted onto existing Vitara Brezzas.
Aside from the cosmetic enhancements afforded by the Sports Limited Edition, the Vitara Brezza remains the same mechanically. The Brezza retains the 1248cc four-cylinder diesel engine. This engine does duty in the Ciaz, Baleno and other Maruti offerings. This engine makes 89bhp and 200Nm of torque, with the option of both a five-speed manual as well as an automatic. Therefore, prices for the manual ‘box start at Rs 6.99 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) for the LDi variant and go up to Rs 9.68 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) for the top-of-the-line ZDi+ variant.
In 2018, Maruti Suzuki offered the Vitara Brezza with the Auto Gear Shift. Additionally, the exterior and interior features were also upgraded. You can get the Vitara Brezza with the auto ‘box for Rs 8.54 lakh for the VDI AMT. Prices go up to Rs 10.49 lakh for the top-end ZDi+ AMT (all prices ex-showroom, Delhi). Expect this new Sports Limited Edition trim level to bring in just a bit more excitement to this tried-and-tested compact SUV.
